Lansdowne Evangelical Free Church is a place where you will hear the most important news in the world: about Jesus Christ, his life, death and resurrection. We meet Him in the pages of the Bible as it is read and explained to us in our Sunday Services and Bible Studies.  He is the way, the truth and the life and the only way to the Father is through Him.

We come from many different nations, but we are united in our love for God and our gratitude and joy because of what Jesus has done for us.  So, we come together each Sunday to worship together and listen to God's Word.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only hope for everyone in this world - no matter what your culture or nationality.  Please come and find out more about Him.  A good time for a first visit is a Sunday morning at 11.00am.  We also meet at 6.30pm on a Sunday evening.  There are lots of other meetings, too; please feel free to explore this website and do come and visit us.

Given thanks to the Lord that our nation has been spared the upheaval of a break up. Please pray for the Christians in Scotland, many of whom feel that the place of Christian values in society is threatened even more than in England. Pray for godly leadership in Scotland. Pray especially for the withdrawal the plan for every child Scotland to have a "named person" from the state to oversee their growth. This could mean that parents teaching their children godly values will be challenged for government officials.

Christ is so in love with holiness, that at the price of his blood he will buy it for us. —John Flavel
